Fast-forwarding nearly six months later to this week, it appears that the transaction will now come to fruition, with Forward Air saying that the terms of the agreement have been amended.

Chicago-based third-party logistics (3PL) services provider SEKO Logistics recently announced it made an intra-city acquisition, with the purchase of GoodShip International, a customs brokerage and compliance consultancy.

This new 109,000 square-foot facility, said Ryder, is less than five miles from the World Trade Bridge and is comprised of 6,400 square-feet of office space, 51 dock doors, two ramps, and 114 trailer spaces.

CIS said this is the company’s thirteenth U.S.-based location, adding that it will provide the company with a physical presence on the Northern U.S. border.
