Echo Global Logistics announces acquisition of Fastmore Logistics

Echo officials said that Fastmore’s domestic operations are similar to those of Echo’s, with the real benefit of bringing Fastmore into the fold is that it offers up what it called a unique point of entry into an expansive network of expedited brokerage for the international freight forwarding market through various types of equipment, including: cargo vans, straight trucks, and full truckload.
Echo Global Logistics inks definitive agreement to acquire Roadtex

Chicago-based third-party logistics and technology-enabled transportation services provider Echo Global Logistics said this week that it has inked a definitive agreement to acquire Somerset, N.J.-based Roadtex Transportation Corporation, a national provider of integrated temperature-controlled supply chain services, for the confectionary, food, nutrition, and pharmaceutical mass retailer end-markets.
LM reader survey underscores the impact of inflation on supply chain and logistics

Echo Global Logistics is going private, will be acquired by The Jordan Company

Chicago-based third-party logistics and technology-enabled transportation services provider Echo Global Logistics announced late last week it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by global private equity firm The Jordan Company for $48.25 per share, with an equity value of roughly $1.3 billion.
